2016 Marks Dynomax’s 30th Anniversary

(Wheeling, IL ) Chicago-based Dynomax, a leader in design, development, and manufacturing of high-precision components and specialty machining products, is celebrating its 30th year of business this month. As we celebrate, we reflect on how a company that began with a single CNC machine in one family’s basement has transformed into a company with over 300 employees working in more than 400,000 square feet of production space.

Founder Dr. Richard Zic and his wife Maura began this company in 1986. Dynomax originated as a company that revolutionized the manufacturing and technological industry and since our first day, Dynomax has maintained its place at the leading edge of this industry. We continue to innovate new developmental and design strategies to advance all aspects of machining, including critical-component manufacturing, and have developed into a one-stop shop for our customers, which include many of the largest manufacturing corporations across the globe.

Over the last 30 years we have built our business on a commitment to our customers. Continuous improvement, R&D, and efficiency gains have been integral to our growth and success. Intelligent and integrated manufacturing are keys to delivering the highest quality products and cost effective solutions.

Throughout this time, the company has continued to be family owned and family oriented. “It is the people that make up Dynomax that makes us successful,” says founder Dr. Zic. “Our employees remain dedicated to Dynomax’s original mission through their commitment to whole-solution development to find innovative answers. It is because of them that we continue to be sought out by some of the biggest names in the manufacturing world.” These companies know that with Dynomax, they can be a leader in their industry.

Our daily goal of the last 30 years has been to be the highest quality producer of manufactured components. It’s a goal we meet on a daily basis and look forward to continuing to meet this goal for many more years to come.
